Macro 4 changes division name to System Management Solutions (SMS)
Macro 4 announced it is renaming its Systems Management Products division to "System Management Solutions" (SMS).
Macro 4 plc, a leading independent developer of world-class business-enabling solutions, today announced it is renaming its System Management Products division to “System Management Solutions” (SMS).
Alan Sloan, chief executive of Macro 4’s System Management Solutions division, explained: "This change brings the division in line with the recent announcement of the name change for the Document management Solutions division (DMS) and reflects the divisions expanding focus on the provision of cross-platform solutions rather than individual products.
The SMS division has traditionally been a leading supplier of software products that helps users gain more value from their IBM mainframe based applications. This has been significantly enhanced with the introduction of its first cross-platform application solution called the Application Performance Portal (A.P.P), which provides performance management for Java applications.
With its unique and highly advanced detection technology, combined with a leading edge user interface, the A.P.P. allows users to make the very best of their most important applications".
