Directions to the Manchester office

By Road - from the South

• From the M56 continue straight on along Princess Parkway (A5103) into the centre of Manchester, until you reach a roundabout underneath the elevated section of the Mancunian Way (A57M).
• At this roundabout, go straight ahead for 500m to the next major set of lights, at the Hacienda apartments.
• Continue straight on at these lights, turning left under the railway bridge at the next set of lights, onto Great Bridgewater Street.
• About 100m after emerging from the tunnel, shortly before the next major interchange, turn right into the Great Northern car park.
• On foot, leave the car park at the Great Northern Square end (opposite end to Great Bridgewater St), onto Peter Street.
• Where Peter Street meets Deansgate (at the metal spike) turn right and continue down Deansgate towards Victoria station.
• After 100m, turn right into Queen Street. The entrance to St John's House is on your right hand side. Macro 4's offices are located on the sixth floor.

By Road - from the North

• Take the M602 into Manchester.
• At the end of the M602, keep right following A57(M) for central Manchester.
• Continue on this road until the junction signposted for Birmingham, Chester, & Manchester Airport (A5103).
• On reaching the roundabout at the end of the slip road, continue straight on, driving under the elevated motorway.
• At the next roundabout, turn left onto Medlock Street.
• Go straight ahead for 500m to the next major set of lights, at the Hacienda apartments.
• Continue straight on at these lights, turning left under the railway bridge at the next set of lights, onto Great Bridgewater Street.

By Rail - Mainline

Manchester has two mainline rail stations - Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria.There are frequent Metrolink services between these stations and the central business district:

• Locate the Metrolink station within the rail station.
• Purchase a city centre zone Metrolink ticket from the vending machine.
• Catch an Altrincham or Eccles service.
• Leave the tram at St. Peters Square. Walk through the gap between the Central Library (circular building) and the Town Hall extension.
• Once through the gap, bear right towards Albert Square.
• Cross Albert Square, and walk down the pedestrianised street on the opposite side of the square to the main Town Hall entrance (Brazennose Street).
• In the small square (Lincoln Square) bear left towards the Rising Sun, which is on Queen Street.
• The entrance to St John's House is towards the end of the street on your left hand side. Macro 4's offices are located on the sixth floor.

By Rail - Local

Macro 4's offices are also easy to find from Manchester Oxford Road and Deansgate stations.

From Oxford Road:

• Leave Oxford Road station and proceed towards the Palace Theatre.
• Continue up Oxford Street towards the Central Library (circular building).
• Follow the directions above from St. Peters Square Metrolink stop.

From Deansgate:

• Leave Deansgate station and proceed up Deansgate (as if you were turning right at the end of Whitworth Street West).
• Continue up Deansgate past the metal spike at Peter Street.
• About 100m after the spike, turn right into Queen Street. The entrance to St John's House is on your right hand side. Macro 4's offices are located on the sixth floor.

By Air/Rail

From Manchester Airport you can take a taxi from outside any of the terminal buildings into Manchester City Centre (ask for Queen Street, off Deansgate). This journey normally takes 20-40 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Alternatively, you can take the frequent shuttle train from Manchester Airport's rail station, to either Piccadilly or Oxford Road stations. Directions from both of these stations are given above.
