Software and services company, Macro 4, has renewed its membership of the Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB) as part of its commitment to working with customers in the UK utilities sector. Members of the UVDB are required to demonstrate their credentials in a range of areas, such as professional and technical, quality and health and safety.

The UVDB system supports utility organisations in complying with EU procurement legislation by providing a fair, open and transparent means of selecting suppliers for potential tender. It also helps Utility companies to reduce costs, save time and minimize administrative workload by providing a focal point for the collection and sharing of pre-qualification information. UVDB members are eligible for pre-selection during the tender process for projects with utility companies.
