Macro 4 DevOps and mainframe modernization solutions to feature at the GSE Nordic Region Conference 2023

Macro 4 and C-Net Systems to showcase technology innovation on IBM zSystems

Crawley, UK, May 9, 2023 – Macro 4, a division of UNICOM® Global, and its Nordic Partner C-Net Systems AB, will be showcasing solutions that accelerate digital transformation at the GSE Nordic Region Conference from 23rd-25th May in Oslo, Norway. The conference provides an opportunity for enterprise IT professionals to meet, exchange ideas, and share experiences of using IBM software. Throughout the three-day event, Macro 4 will continue to engage and share its expertise with the mainframe community. In particular the company will highlight how its cutting-edge mainframe software solutions are a vital asset for enterprises looking to modernize enterprise systems and accelerate their transformation journey. The Macro 4 team will demonstrate how their open-first DevOps suite enables agile software development and reduces deployment timescales. They will also showcase their output management solution, Columbus Z, and its latest web interface, designed to support users who are new to zSystems. In addition, attendees can expect to see solutions for mainframe modernization, session management replacement, and application performance management on display. Macro 4’s Michelle Harris, Senior Manager, Product Services and Development, will lead a conference session on Thursday, May 25th, at 10:30 am, titled ‘Modernizing application testing: our experience with Galasa’. During the session, Michelle will share her experience of using Galasa to test new releases of InSync®, Macro 4’s data management software. The session will cover the company’s drivers for using Galasa, the evaluation process undertaken by the R&D team, and the team’s findings.
